After a long awaited arrival, Glacier Homemade Ice Cream & Gelato opened its doors in Lowry Town Center on August 15. Named “America’s Best Ice Cream” by Forbes Traveler, among many other awards, Glacier has made a big name for itself after starting the family-owned business in Boulder and is spreading its way through Colorado.
Lowry Town Center is happy to welcome Glacier to the center and the team at Glacier is just as happy to join the community. “All of us at Glacier Homemade Ice Cream and Gelato are so excited to join the Lowry Community,” said Sarah Bock, co-owner. “We have received a very warm welcome and are thrilled to bring our family-owned ice cream shop to this special neighborhood.”
Glacier serves up ice cream, gelato, sorbet, low fat yogurt, ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes made from only the freshest naturally grown produce and ingredients. Since first opening in 2001, the chefs at Glacier have made over 1,000 flavors and are always showcasing 70 flavors in each store. They are constantly creating new and exciting flavors and encourage you to join in on the fun with your own ice cream flavor ideas. Give them a shout and maybe your ice cream dreams will come true!
Glacier is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. You can also catch them at the Lowry Wine Walk & Concert on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
